Is your character willing to have sex and able to give informed consent?
Yes! Even if he will bitch about it the entire time.

What is the wish your character made? Why did they make it?
Before the EMP went off, Church was told that he’s an AI and not a ghost by Wash, an agent in the program that created Church in the first place. Church thinks this a load of bullshit, and he wants to get one up Wash by proving he’s a ghost when he returns to his world. There are lots of things he could have wished for, arguably many of them more significant and useful (such as, idk, wishing himself back to life), but Church is a petty bitch and that was what happened right before he arrived here, and sometimes his decision-making process is fueled entirely by spite.

How will your character initially react to Decadia's setting?
Pretty negatively despite voluntarily agreeing to this, due in equal parts to being a shitty little contrarian and the fact that he’s not as prepared for this as he thought he was. But he spends pretty much all of his time exclusively doing things he hates, with people he mostly hates, in places he’d rather die in than continue existing, and this doesn’t seem to be a terrible trade for his farce of a military career. It’s not like he was using his dignity for anything anyway.

He’s going to be reevaluating how he feels about Decadia once he’s had some Experiences. For the worse or for the better, who can say!

What are you most interested in doing with your character in Decadia?
Making him suffer, mostly, with a side of character development. He’s kind of a nihilist and his primary reaction to most things is negative (funny), which makes him an entertaining negative CR machine. I’m also interested in him developing positive CR (let’s not throw words like “friend” around too lightly here) and seeing how that affects him, since this is a pretty radical change of environment for him.

Ideally, I’d also like to have him (eventually) actually confront the idea that he’s an AI and not a ghost and deal with the existential fallout. Stubbornness aside, if he accepts the idea that he’s an AI, it comes with a series of implications that he can’t avoid: for instance, if Tex, another AI based on the original Leonard Church’s memory of his dead wife and whom Church thinks of as his (current? ex? It’s Complicated) girlfriend, isn’t also a ghost who’s been haunting robot bodies, then he’d have to acknowledge that she’s also permanently gone (and that he’s partly responsible for that). Church has a hard time letting go of Tex. It would also mean that everything he thinks he remembers about his life is based entirely on someone else’s memories! Fucked up.

What aspect of sex appeals to your character the most?
At first, the novelty of having a physical body that can actually have sex. He’s almost exclusively inhabited military robot bodies that are more designed for shooting and being shot at than anything else. In Church’s case, mostly being shot at.

Although he’s convinced he’s the ghost of a real human person who was alive at some point, Church the smart AI is only several years old. Some of his memories are inherited from the Director of Project Freelancer, on whose brain he is based, but a lot of them are also unconscious fabrications made to fill the gaps based on what little he remembers of his time as Alpha before being traumatized so bad that he yeeted most of his memories up to that point into a whole other AI.

All that is to say that Church is more or less a virgin. Despite what he thinks he remembers about himself, Church doesn’t have a firsthand understanding of what sex is actually like and it’ll probably catch him off guard kind of like a speeding pickup truck T-boning you out of nowhere.

What kinks does your character have, known or unknown to them? Why do they have those particular kinks?
Church has kinks he’s aware of even if you’d have to pry it out of him with a pair of pliers: femdom and pegging are high on the list, as are impact play, edging & orgasm denial, bondage, and getting fucked senseless. He’s the kind of high-strung asshole who ultimately finds it a turn-on to have control taken away from him in bed, but he is the bitchiest bottom you will ever meet and he’s kind of a brat more by virtue of his shitty personality than any sense of playfulness.

The “why” is largely dictated by his weird memory situation and what he remembers about (what he thinks is) his sex life, but since none of that is grounded in any actual experience, he’s probably going to learn some things about himself real fast, such as enjoying sensory deprivation, group sex, stuckage, and a whole lot of weird shit that comes specifically from inhabiting a robot body. Rewire this man’s brain. Fuck with his sensory input. Do things to him that would normally break or injure a human being. He will be screaming curses the entire time but that’s how you know he likes it
